Although I worked with Adobe CC for many years, I didn't start painting until I retired a few years ago. Self taught, I began using digital tools, Corel Painter and a Wacom pen and tablet to mimic traditional painting. My work began with a sketch on a blank computer screen or by playing with colors and seeing what emerged. Most of my paintings did not use photographic references but came from my imagination. These images are found on my Gallery page.

Recently I have taken a new direction with my digital paintings, using my own photographs of Vancouver Island as starting points for this new series. These images are found on my New Work page.

My work has been professionally printed on high quality canvas using 100 year archival inks and a UV protective top coat. Each piece is painted in high resolution, so they can be custom printed in proportional sizes.
